Governmental Relations

Governmental Relations serves as the State Bar's liaison to the Texas Legislature and other state and federal governmental entities.

The department also manages and coordinates the State Bar's legislative program, which is composed of bills drafted by sections of the State Bar.

Friday Update

During each legislative session, the Governmental Relations department publishes the Friday Update, a free e-newsletter about developments regarding the Bar's legislative package.
