Chad Baruch

State Bar of Texas Chair

Chad Baruch, managing shareholder at Johnston Tobey Baruch, was elected in 2020 to serve as a director on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors representing Dallas County, after previously serving on the board from 2007 to 2010.

Baruch has served as a commissioner on the Texas Access to Justice Commission and as chair of the Texas Bar College, the State Bar of Texas Consumer & Commercial Law Section, and the State Bar of Texas Civil Liberties & Civil Rights Section. In 2017, he was one of two nominated candidates for State Bar of Texas president-elect.

Baruch is certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He earned a J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School in 1991.
