Texas Bar Historical Foundation
Created in 1986
The Texas Bar Historical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established to engage in and support the research, collection, preservation, and presentation of information, documents, and objects relating to the bench, bar, and judicial system within the state of Texas.
Since 1986, the Historical Foundation has been the owner of a collection of Texas legal history records managed by the State Bar of Texas Archives Department. Collections include, but are not limited to:

Texas Court Records Preservation Grant Program
Since 2012, the Historical Foundation has administered the Texas Court Records Preservation Grant Program, with the goal of funding projects that take preservation and conservation action to prolong the life of historically significant and/or valuable public court records.
