Public forums for the 2021 Rules Vote will take place via Zoom webinar on the following dates:
Each event will include an approximately one-hour CLE presentation* on the proposed disciplinary rule amendments (approved for MCLE ethics credit) featuring members of the Committee on Disciplinary Rules and Referenda and its counsel, followed immediately by a live forum where attendees can ask questions or make comments regarding the proposed amendments.
Recordings will also be available for on-demand viewing at later dates. To watch the January 5 recording for MCLE ethics credit through TexasBarCLE, click here.
*This course has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of one credit hour, of which one credit hour will apply to legal ethics/professional responsibility credit. The same presentation will be given for MCLE credit at the beginning of each event, and the January 5 recording will be available on demand for MCLE ethics credit at texasbarcle.com. Alternatively, a total of one hour of self-study ethics credit can be claimed if the presentation is viewed directly from the Rules Vote page.
