District 5, Place 2
Hisham A. Masri
Hisham is a true Texas native—born and raised in North Texas. He loved North Texas enough that he stayed here to obtain both his Bachelors of Acts from Southern Methodist University and his law degree from Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth. He is also happily married to Victoria and they live in Plano, Texas near their families where they grew up.
Today, Hisham continues to work in Dallas. He is an employment lawyer at Jackson Lewis P.C. where he represents management and businesses in all employment related matters. He seeks to impact positive employee relations and best employer practices by advising management directly about avoiding violations of law and how to engage in best employment practices.
Hisham is also involved as the current ABA Young Lawyers Division District 26 Representative wherein he represents all young lawyer local affiliates throughout North Texas within the ABA. That privilege allows him to serve on the Board of Directors for both the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Hisham’s bar involvement does not stop with Board responsibilities. He is currently planning a class project with the 2019-2020 DAYL Leadership and coordinating Dinner & Dialogue, a flagship event for DAYL, as a co-chair of the Lawyers Promoting Diversity Committee.
Hisham is excited to continue serving the profession and the community as part of the TYLA Board of Directors.
