I ENJOY MY JOB BECAUSE
I love to help people. I learned the value of helping people from my grandfather and then my father, so it is in my blood.

I GOT INTOBOTH IMMIGRATION AND TAX LAW
because it allows me to help the client that may be in trouble and is a true underdog versus a tough system.

I LOOK AT PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS.
I wouldn’t take a case and promise a client that there is a chance for success if there is not.

WHEN I STARTED MY PRACTICE,
an experienced lawyer told me to always call people back. I follow this advice and try to call all people back within one business day.

I DO BELIEVE THE LEGAL PROFESSION HAS MADE INROADS AT BEING MORE DIVERSE,
but we still have a long way to go. The way we can do better is to always keep it as a goal in everything we do.

STATE BAR OF TEXAS WORK HAS ALLOWED ME
to get to know attorneys throughout the state and make an impact on 100,000 lawyers.

I WOULD LIKE TO COMMEND
the staff of the State Bar for how much work is done and how they constantly try to improve. All of our Texas attorneys may not know all that they do—but it still gets done.TBJ
