Revamped Website Makes TexasBarCLE Better Than Ever
I'm proud that the State Bar of Texas is one of the top providers of continuing legal education in the country. TexasBarCLE often sets the national standard for CLE content and delivery, and it just keeps getting better.
In the past few months, TexasBarCLE launched a brand-new website. The site was redesigned to enhance your user experience, be more efficient, and provide you with the tools you need to effortlessly access quality CLE content. It boasts a modern look and mobile-friendly design, so you can access it on any device, from desktop to tablet to your phone. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check it out at texasbarcle.com.
With a user-friendly interface and simplified navigation, it’s easier than ever to find the services you need. We’ve streamlined registration on the site, too. All course listings—whether live, on-demand video, or webcast—now include direct registration links so you can select and register for your preferred format.
One new feature is the TexasBarCLE events calendar, which offers a comprehensive listing of both in-person and webcast TexasBarCLE courses. It provides detailed information for each event, including the title, date, location, and a direct registration link. The calendar enables you to conveniently track and plan your TexasBarCLE schedule on a centralized platform.
We’ve also improved access to your TexasBarCLE benefits. You can now view your free online benefits, like on-demand videos, course books, articles, and presentation slides, on a single, easily accessible page. And we’ve enhanced the site’s search functionality. The online classroom search field now incorporates transcripts from online classes. By entering keywords, you can instantly locate relevant transcript sections with highlighted results, saving time and improving accessibility. We believe these improvements will significantly enhance your overall user experience.
One thing that isn’t new is the State Bar of Texas’ commitment to making high-quality CLE accessible to all its members, across all income categories. In that spirit, TexasBarCLE continues to offer free and discounted classes, as well as scholarships. There is always at least one free online class offered on texasbarcle. com and often many more. Scholarships for CLE classes are available for lawyers who need financial assistance and may be applied to attendance during your MCLE reporting year at one, multiple-day live and video replay course or up to two, one-day live and video replay courses listed on texasbarcle.com, along with online classes and webcasts. Also, both live and video replay courses are offered half off for lawyers practicing for five years or less.
I hope you’ll give the new TexasBarCLE website a look and take all of its features for a spin. Happy learning!
Sincerely,
TREY APFFEL
