State Bar Jobs
The State Bar of Texas is an administrative agency of the state's judicial branch that provides educational programs for the legal profession and the public, administers the Minimum Continuing Legal Education program for attorneys, and manages the grievance process. The State Bar is governed by a board of directors and its members, who are elected, receive no compensation. The staff at the State Bar's headquarters in Austin and in regional grievance offices around the state supports the work of the volunteers. To see current openings, click here.
State Bar of Texas Benefits Overview
As a State Bar of Texas employee, you are eligible for benefits as administered by the Employees Retirement System of Texas. The State Bar pays 100% of full-time employees’ premium cost and 50% of their dependent’s premium cost for health insurance. The State Bar reserves the right to revise, amend, or discontinue any policy or benefit at any time and without prior notice. This does not create a contract or a guarantee of employment for any specific duration or establish a “just cause” termination standard.
