State Bar of Texas launches new law practice management website
AUSTIN—A new website created by the State Bar of Texas helps lawyers easily locate the tools they need to manage and sustain healthy law practices while better serving their clients, the people of Texas.
The website—texasbarpractice.com—concentrates in one location resources that were previously dispersed across multiple webpages. Texas lawyers can now access Texas Bar Books, an online store that carries print and digital reference materials and practice manuals, as well as law practice management resources such as free instructional videos, technology resources, and informative articles, all in one website.
Feedback from Texas lawyers as well as historical data of common law practice management questions and issues helped inform the inclusion of resources on the new site, which is a project of the State Bar’s Law Practice Resources Division.
“I am extremely proud of this project,” said Trey Apffel, executive director of the State Bar of Texas. “It speaks directly to our mission to support the administration of the legal system and enable Texas lawyers to better serve their clients and the public.”
Funding for the website came from the State Bar’s 2020-2021 budget.
