State Bar of Texas to honor Alpine attorney at Annual Meeting
AUSTIN — The State Bar of Texas will honor exceptional service to
the public and the legal profession during its Annual Meeting on June 22
and 23 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
The following Alpine attorney is among those being honored:
Amanda Chisholm of Texas RioGrande Legal Aid will receive an Impact Award presented by the State Bar of Texas Poverty Law Section.
The Impact Award honors a Texas attorney or poverty law professional for a recent, significant poverty law case, including an appellate decision, court order, or agency decision; policy change; or other legal relief that had a broad impact on people of modest means in Texas or made a significant impact on the lives of indigent individuals in Texas by protecting, promoting, expanding, or vindicating their legal rights.
