State Bar of Texas to honor Fort Worth-area individuals at Annual Meeting
AUSTIN — The State Bar of Texas will honor exceptional service to the public and the legal profession during its Annual Meeting on June 16-17 at the Fort Worth Convention Center and Omni Hotel.
The following Fort Worth-area individuals are among those being honored:

Dr. Michelle Baumi, Leon Jaworski Award for Teaching Excellence, presented by the State Bar of Texas Law Related Education Department

Judge William Harris, Outstanding Mentor, presented by the Texas Young Lawyers Association

Dean Andrew P. Morriss of Texas A&M University School of Law, TYLA President’s Award of Merit, presented by the Texas Young Lawyers Association

John Allen Chalk, Frank Evans Award, presented by the State Bar of Texas Alternate Dispute Resolution Section

Allan Howeth, Distinguished Texas Probate Attorney Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section

W. Bradley Parker of Bedford, Presidential Citation, presented by the State Bar of Texas for his service as co-chair of the 2016 State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting
