State Bar of Texas to honor Austin attorneys at Annual Meeting
AUSTIN — Presentations of awards honoring exceptional service to the public and the legal profession will be a highlight of the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting, to be held June 18-19 at the Grand Hyatt and Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.
The following Austin attorneys are among those being honored:

Rebecca Lightsey, J. Chrys Dougherty Legal Services Award, presented by the State Bar of Texas Legal Services to the Poor in Civil Matters Committee. The award is named in memory of J. Chrys Dougherty, a private attorney and bar leader, and recognizes an outstanding legal services staff attorney.

Mike A. Hatchell, Gregory S. Coleman Outstanding Appellate Lawyer Award, presented by the Texas Bar Foundation

Layla D. Milligan, Robert B. Wilson Distinguished Service Award, presented by the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Law Section

Deborah B. Langehennig, Outstanding Service Award, presented by the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Law Section

Louis T. Pirkey, Tom Arnold Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the State Bar of Texas Intellectual Property Law Section
