State Bar of Texas announces judicial poll results

AUSTIN – The State Bar of Texas today announced results of its statewide 2014 Judicial Poll. A PDF of the results is available at www.texasbar.com/pollresults.

Members of the State Bar of Texas were given an opportunity to vote on candidates in their respective court of appeals races, as well as statewide races. Of 94,783 eligible voters, 12.97 percent (or 12,294 Texas lawyers) cast a ballot.

The results are in no way an endorsement of any candidate by the State Bar of Texas, its officers, directors, or staff. The results reflect the opinion of the individual lawyers who voted.

The State Bar of Texas is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Texas that provides educational programs for the legal profession and the public, administers the minimum continuing legal education program for attorneys, and manages the attorney discipline system.
