When: 5–6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24

Where: Texas Law Center, 1414 Colorado, Austin, TX, 78701

Additional Information: Following the fall of the Soviet Union, the U.S. created the Open World Leadership Center to sponsor small groups of leaders from various countries as they visited the United States to gain firsthand knowledge and exposure to the American system of participatory democracy. Since its inception, more than 25,000 mayors, governors, lawyers, business leaders, legislators, teachers, and medical personnel have visited the United States in this fashion. The current delegation is composed of some of the most senior judges in Ukraine. Their goal is to learn about ICT, e-governance, e-filing, and its role in an effective judiciary. The US-Ukraine Foundation is co-sponsoring this delegation to Texas, along with East Texas Friends of Ukraine.
