TEXAS BAR COLLEGE
The Texas Bar College is an honorary society of lawyers and judges established by the Texas Supreme Court in 1981. Comprising about four percent of the total membership of the State Bar of Texas, the members of the College are attorneys in good standing who distinguish themselves through their public commitment to enhanced competence and professionalism by attending at least double the number of hours of accredited continuing legal education required each year. To assist them with their educational goals, all members are provided unlimited free access to TexasBarCLE’s Online Library, which compiles more than 20,000 articles about all elements of Texas law practice.
The College issues annual awards honoring extraordinary dedication and performance including the Jim Bowmer Professionalism Award, the Franklin Jones CLE Article Award, and the Steve Condos Award, the last recognizing outstanding contributions to CLE in the calendar year preceding the presentation of the award. Nominations for the Condos Award are open to all accredited Texas CLE providers.
