Immediate Past President Tisdale’s Initiatives
Under President Tisdale’s leadership, the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors voted in June 2023 to create an Artificial Intelligence Workgroup, which was later expanded into the Taskforce for Responsible AI in the Law, or TRAIL. The task force is studying the use of artificial intelligence in the legal profession, including ethical considerations, and will make recommendations, if any, to the board of directors consistent with the State Bar’s statutory purposes.
