special accommodations?
If you need special accommodations to participate in Annual
Meeting, please contact the State Bar at 512.427.1515 prior to
Friday,
May 16, 2025.
WiFi Access
Free Wi-Fi access will be provided to all 2025 State Bar of Texas Annual
Meeting attendees, brought to you by Smokeball! Wi-Fi will be available in the JW
Marriott Hill Country Resort meeting rooms
and common areas which include the lobby, pre-function areas, and
hallways.

Hotel Reservation Policy
The deadline to book your hotel room at the discounted rate in the State Bar of Texas room block is May 21, 2025, by 5 p.m. Please note that rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and we may run out of available rooms in our block prior to the deadline.
To confirm a sleeping room within the State Bar of Texas Room Block, you must provide a valid credit card to secure your room. A no-show fee will be charged to the credit card on file for any reservations not canceled at least 72 hours in advance of the reservation arrival date.
PLEASE NOTE: Debit Card holders will be billed upon check-in the full amount for their room, tax, and resort fee for the entire stay plus an additional $100 per night for incidentals. Any unused pre-authorizations will be released back to the guest’s account 5-10 business days after check-out. This is also posted at the front desk during check-in. The best way to avoid this would be to use a credit card to secure your reservations, if possible.
Mandatory Discounted Hotel Resort Fee
The hotel resort fee will be added to all reservations for State Bar of
Texas Annual Meeting attendees. The resort fee is an additional
$15/night (discounted from $50 for our group) and will include the

What is the recommended
attire?
Attire at the meeting is business casual. Feel free to be
comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses, and
most importantly, comfortable shoes! Suits, ties, nine-to-five dresses,
and high heels are not required. Attire for the President’s Party
on Thursday, June 19th, is cocktail attire.
Where can I park?
The JW Marriott Hill Country Resort offers either valet or self-parking
for hotel guests.
Self-parking:
Included in Resort Fee for Annual Meeting guests who book a room in the
State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting room block.
Daily: $29 for any guests who did not book a room in in the State Bar
of Texas Annual Meeting room block.
Valet parking:
Daily: $45 + tax

The JW Marriott Hill Country Resort does not offer shuttle service to or from the airport.

The Digital Programming Guide for the 2025 State Bar of
Texas Annual Meeting has not been published yet. Once it is, it will be
available at www.texasbar.com/annualmeeting and
will be updated regularly.
When can I pick up my name badge and
registration materials?
Registration will take place at the JW Marriott Hill Country
Resort, just around the corner from the ballrooms.

Thursday, June 19, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Law Student Division
Members
As a member of the Law Student Division, you can attend the 2025
Annual Meeting at a discounted rate of $395 for a 2-day
registration. Show up on site and register at the State Bar of Texas
Registration Desk. Click here to
join the Law Student Division now.
I want to attend
the Annual Meeting but am not an attorney or a member of the Law
Student Division or Paralegal Division. May I
register?
Yes, you may. However, you will need to print out a registration
form and fax (512.427.4303), email (annualmeeting@texasbar.com)
or mail it to State Bar of Texas, Attn.: Annual Meeting, P.O. Box
12487, Austin, TX 78711-2487.
I don't want to pay by
credit card. Can I still register online and pay later or pay by
check?
Unfortunately, no. If you do not pay by credit card at the end of the
online registration process, your registration will not be processed.
Please be assured that every step of our online registration process is
secured by VeriSign so your credit card information will be safe.
However, if you still want to pay by check/money order, you may do so
by completing a printed registration
form and mailing that
along with your check to our office (State Bar of Texas, Attn.: Annual
Meeting, P.O. Box 12487, Austin, TX 78711-2487).
Can I fax my registration form and payment
information?
Yes, you may. However, please make sure that we can read your fax!
Please include a cover sheet with clear instructions on how to contact
you with any questions. You should receive an email registration
confirmation within 10 days. Our fax number is 512.427.4303.
I just registered online but did not
receive a confirmation email.
Please call our office (512.427.1515) if you do not receive a
confirmation email within 15 minutes of pressing the “Check
Out” button at the end of your registration process.
I faxed or mailed in my registration form but have not
received
a confirmation.
If you faxed or mailed in your registration form, you should receive a
confirmation email within 10 days of receipt of your registration
form.

I pre-registered for the Annual Meeting. Is there anything
else
I need to do?
When you arrive onsite at the Annual Meeting, stop by the registration
desk located near the meeting space at the JW Marriott Hill Country
Resort. Your tote bag, name badge, and confirmation will be waiting for
you there.
Can I register for the Annual Meeting onsite?
Yes! Stop by the registration desk located just around the corner from
the ballrooms at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort. Our team at the
registration desk will be happy to assist you in registering for the
meeting.
I registered online but forgot to purchase tickets for the
special events. What should I do?
If you have already registered for this event and need to modify your
registration, please contact the Annual Meeting department at
512.427.1515 or
email annualmeeting@texasbar.com.
You can also buy tickets to these events at the registration desk on
site. Remember that breakfasts (continental on Thursday and Bench Bar
on Friday) and luncheons (Bar Leaders Recognition on Thursday and
General Session on Friday) are part of the registration. If you want to
buy a ticket for a guest, those tickets are available on
the registration form. Don't forget to purchase tickets to the
President's Party, which are not included in any of the registration
packages.
I’m only going to attend my section’s membership
meetings. Do I have to register for the Annual Meeting?
If you are attending only your
section's council or membership meetings, you do not have to register
for the Annual Meeting. However, if you plan to attend any of the CLE
programs, including your section's CLE programming, you must register
for the Annual Meeting. You will need your registration badge for
access to the meeting rooms. CLE will be filed only for
registrants.
I have registered for the Annual Meeting but would like to
make
changes to my name on my badge. How do I do this?
If you have already registered for this event and need to modify your
registration, please contact the Annual Meeting department at

If I have to change my plans and can’t attend the
meeting,
can I get a refund?
For a full refund, written cancelation requests must be received by
Monday, May 19, 2025. Cancelations will not be refunded once the
meeting begins. Send written cancelation requests to State Bar of
Texas, Attn.: Annual Meeting, P.O. Box 12487, Austin, Texas 78711-2487,
email to annualmeeting@texasbar.com,
or fax to 512.427.4303. Refunds received prior to the cancelation
deadline will be processed after the Annual Meeting.
Education
How do I request CLE
credit for attending the Annual Meeting?
All CLE events will use the same MCLE number. Total the time for all the
CLE you attend, and then turn in just one MCLE card at one of the
designated drop boxes onsite as you leave the Annual Meeting. MCLE
cards will be available at several places throughout the meeting.
Annual Meeting MCLE cards will only be accepted onsite. If you are
unable to turn in your MCLE card onsite, CLE hours may be self-reported
on your My Bar Page. Please do not mail in the MCLE card after the
meeting is over, it will not be accepted.
Will a hard copy of the CLE materials be available for
purchase?
All available materials from Annual Meeting presentations will
be made available to attendees on the Annual Meeting website and app.
Hard copies of the CLE materials
will not be available for
purchase.
