The Research and Analysis Department conducts periodic surveys of Texas attorneys on a number of topics, including billing methods, hourly rates, hours worked, and income. Please note that the findings presented are based on survey responses from attorneys throughout Texas. The hourly rate information is not designed for nor intended to be used for setting appropriate attorney fees. There are other factors that should be considered in determining attorney hourly rate fees that are outside the scope of these reports.
