Local Bar Services
The State Bar Local Bar Services department works with the
Local Bar Services Committee to establish a close relationship with all
of the local bar associations and special purpose bars throughout Texas.
Local Bar Services offers assistance in planning and implementing programs
that further the legal profession's involvement in public service and to
improve the legal profession's standing with the public at large. The Local
Bar Services Committee provides services to bar associations through the
annual Bar Leaders Conference, maintaining databases on the local bars
and their officers, and collecting and disseminating information on worthwhile
projects which can be replicated by other local bar associations.
2010 Bar Leaders Conference
The 2010 Bar Leaders Conference will be held at the Westin Galleria in Houston
Texas from July 24-25. More information will be available when registration
opens.
