St. Agnes Baptist Church
3730 South Acres Drive (77047)

Volunteer attorneys at the HVLP Legal Advice Clinics will provide brief legal advice—10 to 15 minutes—to qualifying participants in the following areas: FEMA questions, family law (divorce, custody, child support), wills and probate, consumer, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy and immigration law. Referrals to legal service providers will also be available. Free parking is available. The clinic will take place in the yellow buildings across the street from the main parking lot.

Anyone served with legal documents or having prior court papers affecting their legal matter should bring these documents if possible.

Established in 1981 by the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program’s mission is to provide pro bono legal services to low-income and indigent men and women of Harris County and to promote volunteerism among the local legal community.

October 22, 2005 clinic graciously sponsored and staffed by Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw & Pittman, L.L.P.
