Disciplinary Rules Changes With an Oct. 20, 2009, order
(pdf), The Supreme Court of Texas began the public comment process for proposed
changes to the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct. Details

Sought for Capital Writs Committee State Bar President Roland
Johnson is making appointments to the Capital
Writs Committee, which was created in the recent legislative session.
The five-member committee will include three Texas lawyers with criminal
defense experience in death penalty proceedings who are not prosecutors
or law enforcement officials, and two state district judges, one of whom
is presiding judge of a judicial administrative region. Click

Roland Johnson launched AfterTheBarExam.com,
