What is MyBarPage?
This page is your home-base on the new TexasBar.com. On this page you can view your MCLE information, dues status, section memberships, and profile information. There are several optional features, including free online legal research, news, stock quotes and weather, and more.

I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click the "Forgot Your PIN/Password?" link below the login button. Then enter your e-mail address or State Bar Card # to receive an email reminder. If the reminder does not arrive within 15 minutes, try the following directions:

Select Login at the top of the screen and then "Proceed" under "First-Time Lawyers/Members" (Despite the fact that you may have already registered).
You will be asked to enter your Bar Card Number, last four digits of your SSN, and date of birth.
You'll then see a welcome screen that says Click here for "MyBarPage". Click that link.
Once your "MyBarPage" loads, click Update My Profile to change your email address and set up your account the way you like it.

If you are not sure which email address we have on file, please contact our Membership department at (800)204-2222, Ext. 1383.

Online Member Directory

In addition to name, the Online Member directory is now searchable by practice area, specialty area, region, law school, and more. TexasBar.com visitors may search by any combination of those criteria.

To access the directory, you may do a quick search by entering a first name, last name, or bar card number in the blue box which is found on every page of the website.

For more search options, click “Advanced Search” in the blue box which is found on every page of the website. On this screen, you may enter one or more search criteria, in any combination. For specialty practice area, practice area, services offered, and languages spoken, you may use CTRL-click to select more than one of option per menu.

After you enter or select your search criteria, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen. You will see a list of results matching the criteria you entered or selected. If more than 500 results are returned, you will be asked to refine your search to return fewer results. To do this, click the “back” button on your browser and enter more criteria.

On the search results screen, you may click any of the column titles (i.e. name, address, status) to alphabetically or numerically sort the results by that title.

How can I upload a photo for the online directory?
Go to MyBarPage and click on “Update My Profile” under “My Profile.” Then click on “My Directory Options.” Follow the instructions to upload your photo. The ideal size is 100 x 120 pixels. It may be color or black and white.

What are the email icons in the directory?
You may choose to receive emails via the Online Directory. When a website visitor clicks on the email icon in the directory search results screen, he or she will be able to fill out a form and send you an email via the website. For privacy reasons, the State Bar will not display your email address – the email you receive will be transmitted via TexasBar.com and the person emailing you will not see your email address. This service is offered as a member convenience, and is optional.
