Resources for New Attorneys
The State Bar of Texas offers a resource page that provides quick access to information new attorneys will find useful as they begin their careers. Some of these resources include law office management, compliance, and technology. Click here to view the resource page.

Minimum Continuing Legal Education
The State Bar requires that every attorney complete a certain number of continuing legal education (CLE) hours each year in order to maintain an active law license. This requirement is known as Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE). The State Bar MCLE Department ensures that attorneys comply with the regulations and also approves courses for MCLE credit. Attorneys and course sponsors may access and update their MCLE records on this website. The department also offers an MCLE Course Search which allows attorneys to search all approved CLE-accredited courses by date, topic, location, and/or sponsor.
