For more than four decades, the Texas Bar Foundation has assisted organizations to :

Educate the public about their rights and responsibilities under the law

Provide legal advice to the poor

Help those who turn to the legal system for protection 

In fiscal year 2007, the trustees awarded more than $773,000 in grants to 48 organizations, and 45 legal aid attorneys received Student Loan Repayment Assistance in the amount of $216,000.  

This year is slated to be even better.
