Biography
Roland K. Johnsonpractices with the Fort Worth
firm of Harris, Finley & Bogle, P.C. He is board certified
in Civil Trial Law and practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation,
professional liability litigation, and arbitration.
Johnson has served on or been a board member of:
the Tarrant County Bar Association (president 2001-02), the
State Bar Board of Directors (2003-06) and as chair of the State Bar Professionalism
Committee (2007-08), as commissioner and chair of the City of Fort Worth’s
Civil Service Commission, the Board of Directors of the Tarrant County Bar
Foundation, the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism, the Texas
Legal Protection Plan, the Day Resource Center, and president of the Eldon
B. Mahon Inn of Court (2007-08).
He currently is on the Baylor Alumni Association Board
of Directors. He is an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University School
of Law and a member of the Dean’s advisory council, and a sustaining
Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Johnson is a member of the College
of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Association of Mediators, Texas Association
of Defense Counsel, American Law Institute, American Board of Trial Advocates,
and the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial and Large Complex
Case Panels.
He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, and J.D.,
cum laude, from Baylor University.
