Harper Estes

Biography

Harper Estes is a shareholder in Lynch, Chappell & Alsup in Midland, where he has practiced for 27 years with an emphasis in commercial trial work, oil and gas litigation, and as a mediator and arbitrator.

Estes served the Midland County Bar Association in the capacity of president, president-elect, vice president and secretary/treasurer. He has also served on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors, as chair of a State Bar Grievance Committee, on the TYLA Board of Directors, and as secretary/treasurer of the Midland County Young Lawyers Association.

Estes is certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He is active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the First Presbyterian Church of Midland. Estes earned a B.A. from Texas Tech University and a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law.
