Biography

Cori A. Harbour of The Harbour Law Firm, P.C. in El Paso focuses her practice on civil and criminal appeals and criminal defense.

Harbour has served as president of the El Paso Bar Association (2008-09), the El Paso Young Lawyers Association (2001-02), and the El Paso Women’s Bar Association (2000-01). She served as TYLA vice president in 2007-08, and has been on the TYLA Board of Directors since 2003.

Harbour is a founding fellow of the El Paso Bar Foundation and a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. She is treasurer of the Texas Bar Historical Foundation and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. She is a past president of Planned Parenthood Center of El Paso, and has served as an instructor at the University of Texas at El Paso since 2002. She was named El Paso’s Outstanding Young Lawyer in 2001.

Harbour earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. cum laude from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, and is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico. She will serve as TYLA president from June 2009 through May 2010.
