Pro Bono College
Created in 1992 by the State Bar of Texas, the Pro Bono College recognizes attorneys who have far exceeded the State Bar's aspirational pro bono goal in their efforts to address the vast unmet legal needs of the poor.
- Legal services staff attorneys may join the Pro Bono College if they have performed a minimum of 75 hours of eligible pro bono services in addition to their normal work hours, without compensation, as stated in the membership requirements.
There is also an associate membership in the College recognizing the achievements of Texas paralegals in pro bono service.
- Paralegals may join the Pro Bono College as an associate member if they have performed a minimum of 50 hours of eligible pro bono services in addition to their normal work hours, without compensation, as stated in the membership requirements.

Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans is a State Bar of Texas program to develop and assist pro bono legal clinics throughout the state for military veterans who otherwise cannot afford or do not have access to the legal services they need.
