Child Support Compliance
The responsibility of ensuring that an attorney makes child support lies with the attorney and is a matter between the attorney and the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
The State Bar of Texas is notified by a court order from an administrative or judicial court when an attorney is not in compliance and issues an administrative suspension of the attorney’s license.

What Happens Next
When an attorney who has been suspended takes the necessary steps to rectify the suspension, the State Bar is notified by a court order.
The attorney must also request a reinstatement from the State Bar following a suspension.
