Election & Voting Services… VR Election Services, Inc. is the State Bar of Texas’ contracted service provider for election services. They are utilized by the State Bar when conducting Board Elections, Judicial Polls and Referendums. Located in Carrollton, Texas, VR provides paper ballot production, tabulation services, and hosts the State Bar’s internet-based ballot service. When conducting elections, members may receive blast emails from VRES’ internet domain (vres.us) or be provided a secure website URL to access online balloting services (www.vres.us). These are not phishing scams, illegitimate websites, or marketing spam.

Blast Email & Survey Services… INFORMZ, Inc. is the State Bar of Texas’ contracted service provider for blast email services. They are utilized by the State Bar to send both mass and targeted administrative electronic mail to our members, to distribute online newsletters (such as the Legislative Update or TYLA eNews), and to perform certain online surveys. Located in Saratoga Springs, New York, INFORMZ services provide the State Bar a means to quickly reach our members via email. Emails our members might receive from this service will have an underlying email address of statebaroftexas@informz.net. Emails emanating from this email domain are not spam or phishing scams. The State Bar of Texas provides a means for its members to “opt-out” of future emails of a given type that they may receive.
