About Us

The State Bar of Texas Local Bar Services department and Local Bar Services Committee offer assistance and support to local and specialty bar associations across Texas. These efforts include developing programs that further the legal profession's involvement in public service.

Our goal is to improve the legal profession's standing with the public at large by establishing a close relationship with local bar associations throughout Texas.

We accomplish this goal with:

Stars of Texas Bars

Every local bar association is invited to participate in the Stars of Texas Bars and the Judge Sam Williams contest. This year’s entries must be received by the State Bar of Texas, Local Bar Services department by Friday, May 3, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. For questions please e-mail localbars@texasbar.com.
