Committees

Committees are established by the Board of Directors and appointed by the President-Elect to consider matters of interest to the Bar membership, update professional materials, recommend changes to policies and procedures, and study legal issues affecting the legal profession and the public.

Consider Serving on a Committee

Committee appointment terms commence after the annual meeting each year. Unless otherwise noted, appointment terms are for three years and no member may serve on more than one committee at a time. Participation is important and failure to contribute in the work of the committee may result in removal from the committee. To express interest in serving on a committee beginning in the upcoming bar year (starting June 1, 2012), please fill out this online form by Dec. 7, 2012.
