State Bar of Texas
The State Bar of Texas is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Texas that provides educational programs for the legal profession and the public, administers the minimum continuing legal education program for attorneys, and manages the attorney discipline system.
Media note: News media is welcome to attend sessions at no charge, but registration is required. Contact the State Bar Public Information Office at (800) 204-2222, ext. 1715 to register. Upon arrival, sign in at the State Bar Information Booth at the Hilton Anatole to pick up a media pass for access. Audio/video recording generally is allowed at Annual Meeting events with the following exceptions: (1) Video recording is not allowed for Justice Alito’s speech, and audio recording of the speech is allowed for note-taking purposes only. Still photography is allowed. (2) The Oswald trial is being presented in partnership with Belo Corp. and is not open to the general media.
