Notice of Public Hearing Regarding Professional Liability Insurance Disclosure
AUSTIN – The State Bar of Texas has announced a series of public hearings to invite input from the public and attorneys regarding the issue of whether Texas lawyers should be required to disclose whether they have professional liability insurance (PLI).
The Supreme Court of Texas has asked the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors to recommend by Feb. 5, 2010, whether Texas lawyers should be required to disclose PLI coverage.
