State Bar of Texas Office of Minority Affairs

The State Bar's commitment toward creating a fair and equal legal profession for women and minorities includes many initiatives with support from our Office of Minority Affairs.

The Office of Minority Affairs has three primary goals:

• To serve minority and women attorneys and legal organizations in Texas
• To enhance employment and economic opportunities for minority and women attorneys in the legal profession
• To increase involvement by minorities and women in the State Bar

This office works with several State Bar of Texas committees and sections dedicated to working on minority and women's issues, in addition to outreach programs across Texas.
