Pro Bono Awards
Each year two State Bar Committees, Legal Services to the Poor in Civil Matters and Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters, seek nominations of deserving individuals, groups, and entities that perform exceptional work in the field of legal services to the poor.
Recipients of the Pro Bono Excellence Awards and the Indigent Defense Awards will be notified in May.

The Legal Services to the Poor in Civil Matters Committee seeks nominations for the Pro Bono Excellence Awards. The State Bar's Pro Bono Excellence Awards recognize dedicated members of our legal profession who are committed to providing civil legal services to the poor in Texas.
The Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters Committee seeks nominations for the Indigent Defense Awards. The Indigent Defense Awards recognize the work and contributions of those who make extraordinary contributions to improve the quality of criminal legal representation to indigents in Texas through the Warren Burnett Award and the Michael K. Moore Award.
